Chipper knives

Chipper knives from KN Knives are replacement rotor and counter knives for industrial drum and disc wood chippers that turn logs, branches and waste wood into wood chips for biomass. We have been manufacturing industrial machine knives in Slovenia since 1996 – every knife is CNC-machined, heat-treated and precision-ground in our own production, under ISO 9001:2015.

Steel and hardness

• 1.2360 / K329 – tough steel for wood with knots, stones or metal.
• 1.2379 / K110 – higher wear resistance for clean wood and longer edge life.

Hardened to 52–58 HRc, depending on the knife and the material being chipped.
